Beyond Bacteria

This annual meeting is organised by a rotation of microbiologists from different universities in the Netherlands. Besides Amsterdam, this meeting has so far been held in Groningen, Nijmegen, Wageningen, Utrecht, Leiden and in Delft. The meeting brings together Dutch researchers that are interested in a wide range of microbiology topics.

Speakers from diverse Dutch institutes and universities will present their research, ranging from microbial communities, cell biology, biotechnology to medical microbiology.

In particular, the meeting focuses on providing the opportunity for relatively new and/or junior group leaders to present their research to the Dutch microbiology community. Students (BSc, MSc and PhD), postdocs and PIs are able to register via an online open registration procedure
