NCCC combines lectures by (inter)nationally leading scientists with contributions of our leaders-to-be: our PhD students and postdocs.
We aim to highlight the most topical scientific and societal developments (e.g. in energy conversion and storage, photo/electrocatalysis, sustainable and circular chemistry); ‘Catalyse Change – Change Catalysis’ is this year’s theme to emphasize the role of catalysis as key enabling technology in the energy, resource and materials transitions.
It also highlights the evolution of the field, as demonstrated by the emergence of exciting, new topics/subdisciplines, and the cross fertilisation by inclusion of other scientific disciplines (e.g. electrochemistry, energy materials, polymer science and sustainability science).
