Grant Description

000 km fiber optic line -- alongside a gas pipeline. The purpose of the SCADA system was to minimize leakages in the gas transportation system. The project was to be launched in 2008 and implemented within 1.5-years. In June 2010 Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell Co. and Uzbekneftegaz signaled that they working to resolve their dispute.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
