The purpose of this project was refurbish the basement of the obstetrics and gynaecology (OB-GYN) building (妇产科楼地下室进行局部改造) in Agostinho Neto Hospital (HAN or Praia Central Hospital or 普拉亚中心医院).

The Chinese Government also funded the initial construction of the OB-GYN building Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
