Grant Description

According to Guinea-Bissau’s Popular National Assembly, the Government of Guinea-Bissau entered into negotiations with the Chinese Government to build a headquarters for its Popular National Assembly in 2000.

On February 8, 2002, the two governments signed an exchange of letters regarding the National People's Palace Construction Project. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
