Grant Description

The Idleb Museum in Syria preserves the Ebla tablets (circa 2500-2250 B.C.), which are considered one of the most significant collections of ancient texts in the world.

This project involves urgent repairs to the museum building and the protection of the collection following the February 2023 Trkiye-Syria earthquake.
