Preservation of 20th-Century Archival Collections at UMAM Documentation and Research in Beirut

The archival heritage of Lebanon is crucial for understanding the country's multifaceted history and promoting civil society.

This project aims to conserve and catalog UMAM D&Rs extensive archival collections, making them accessible to the public to enable critical engagement with Lebanon's past.

Activities include organizing and inventorying physical archives, digitizing written and audio-visual materials, launching a digital platform, conducting a social media campaign, hosting online talks, and curating physical exhibitions to enhance public awareness and engagement.
