Documentation of the Musical Heritage of the Gura Region

The Gura region of Chad is a cultural crossroads where music serves as a universal link, fostering intergenerational relationships and preserving the community's identity.

The project aims to document, promote, and safeguard the region's musical heritage by focusing on the musical traditions of three villages.

Activities include on-location residencies, workshops, professional audio and video production, the creation of a digital archive, and public concerts to ensure the preservation and transmission of this cultural heritage.
