The archival heritage of Iraq is at risk from environmental threats and insufficient conservation resources.
This project aims to train 75 conservators and custodians in preventive conservation, condition assessment, and effective communication, while also establishing three hubs for archival expertise in Baghdad, Erbil, and Najaf.
Activities include in-person and online training sessions, practical conservation projects, public outreach events, and the creation of a network for knowledge exchange and professional support.
