Preserving and Promoting Malagasy Traditional Music and Dance

To support the identification and documentation of traditional dance in the six regions of Madagascar, including the associated music, instruments, costumes, and body decoration. Each region has distinct music and dance traditions serving to teach moral and cultural values. The project will also produce material to supplement public school curricula.
