Preservation of Vanuatu's National Literature and Photographic Collections

To provide proper storage and climate controlled space for Vanuatu's national literature and photographic collections.

Currently the collections are in a building near the harbor where they are threatened by water damage, and photos are in boxes and stacked on shelves. Vanuatu legislation mandates that any books published in or about Vanuatu must be deposited in the National Library. These collections therefore are the largest compliations worldwide on historical and modern Vanuatu.
