Grant Description

To support the preservation of the Van Romondt collection in the Architecture Library of the Institute of Technology Bandung. The collection of 5000 glass slides and 1000 drawings was compiled beginning in the early 1920 s. Images include vernacular and colonial buildings, and early archaeological excavations in Indonesia and Asia.

Improvement of storage conditions, inventory, and documentation will allow access to scholars, students, and the public.
