To support emergency conservation of 30 Turkmen carpets in the collection of the The National Carpet Museum. The carpets are deteriorating due to lack of proper preservation and require careful cleaning and repair of ruptures.

The Museum was established in 1993 by presidential decree and charged with collecting, studying, restoring and exhibiting unique samples of culturally and historically significant Turkmen carpets.
