Grant Description

To support the preservation of the jewelry collection which includes pieces dating from the 2nd millenium BC to the early 20th century. The ancient pieces were founding during archaeological excavations within the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

The project will begin with a conservation assessment of the museum, purchase equipment for security and storage, and then initiate conservation of the jewelry.
