Grant Description

On May 9, 2003, Victory Day, CNPC AktobeMunaiGas (CNPC AMG), a Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, set aside $63,700 USD to subscribe Kazakhstani veterans of World War II to newspapers and magazines. CNPC AMG was still spending that amount every year as of 2017. This project captures the first known instance of CNPC's purchase of subscriptions in 2003.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
