Grant Description
On November 19, 2008, the Government of China signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) with the Government of Peru, the former granting the latter 30 million RMB for projects to be determined at a later date.
Banking procedures were to be determined by the Bank of the Nation of Peru (Banco de la Nación del Perú) and the China Development Bank. The Peruvian Minister of Foreign Relations and the Chinese Minister of Commerce signed the agreement. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
