Grant Description

On December 5, 2018, China hosted a signing ceremony for the Poverty Alleviation Project (扶贫项目) of the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project benefitted children in the Puno district.

About 200 people including Peruvian Foreign Minister Popolicio, and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Talavera were present at the ceremony, which was hosted by the Volunteer Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru and included an award ceremony for the 4th Diplomatic Children's Drawing Competition.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
