Grant Description
On July 13, 2017, a sending off ceremony for 20 students and teachers was held, before they left to participate in a 10-day 2017 International Students Summer Camp in Beijing. This camp is sponsored by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education (BMCE).
The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan sponsored the Pakistani participants, in collaboration with BMCE and the Beijing International Education Exchange Center. Madam Diana Bao, wife of Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong, made personal contributions to make this project possible. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
