CITTC establishes China Pakistan Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTC) at NUST.

On December 11, 2018, Chinese International Technology Transfer Centre (CITTC) signed an MoU with National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) to establish China Pakistan Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTC).

CITTC is a joint project of Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and Beijing Municipal Science and technology Commission, that provides a professional international technology transfer platform between China and other countries across the world.

They agreed to help provide this centre as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), to facilitate ease of technological transfer between the two nations. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
