Grant Description

On October 30, 2013, the Chinese Embassy in Bolivia, the La Paz Municipal Government, and the Faculty of Economics of the Higher University of San Andrés (Universidad Mayor de San Andrés/USMA) signed an institutional agreement which created a program targeted at providing more hands-on experience and research opportunities for business and economics students.

These opportunities will be centered specifically on development projects in the La Paz department, and thus are intended to provide benefits to both students and the areas surrounding the university. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
