Grant Description

From August 1 through August 12, 2018, the 23rd La Paz International Book Fair (La Feria Internacional del Libro (FIL) de La Paz) took place, at which China participated for the first time and received an "Outstanding Guest" designation.

The Chinese Embassy in Bolivia, for the exhibition, sponsored multiple seminars, exhibitions, and classes, all pertaining to Chinese culture, throughout the fair. Their programs included events aimed at both children and adults. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
