Chinese Government provides RMB 60 million grant for provision of medical equipment and electricity to hospitals

On November 3, 2007, the Chinese government signed an agreement to grant RMB 60 million for the provision of medical equipment and electricity to city and district hospitals in Uzbekistan. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
