Grant Description
In November 2011, delegates from 24 Latin American countries, including two delegates from Barbados, attended a three-day leadership forum and seminar in China.
The opening ceremony took place at the Academy for International Business Officials (managed by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce) in Beijing, and the content had a different focus each day. The delegates from Barbados were from the Barbados-China Friendship Association. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
