Grant Description
On December 6, 2018, the handover ceremony of the "Panda Book Corner" donated by the Chinese Embassy in Nepal to 5 schools in Nepal was held at Pathshala Nepal Foundation School in Patan.
Ambassador Yu Hong, Political Counsellor Yang Shichao, Nepal Forest and Environment Minister Bassnet, Patan Mayor Mahaljan and others attended the ceremony. About 200 people including teachers and students from 5 donated schools participated in the above activities. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
