Grant Description

In 2015, Hanban and the Chinese government introduced the Chinese language programme to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

According to the JCF 2016 Annual Report, the JCF and the People's Republic of China collaborated to deliver the first Mandarin course to 65 JCF members in 2016. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
