Grant Description

On 3 January 2012, during an official visit to Abidjan, the Chinese Foreign Minister (Yang Jiechi or 杨洁篪) and his Ivorian counterpart signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) in which China granted 7.9 billion CFA (100 million RMB) for unspecified purposes. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
