Grant Description

On 23 June 2011, the Chinese Government's special envoy and Vice Foreign Minister (Zhai Jun) signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) granting 5.84 billion CFA or roughly 80 million RMB to the Government of Cote d'Ivoire for reconstruction following the 2011 post-election crisis.

How exactly this money was used is unknown. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
