Grant Description

On December 15, 2016, the Deputy Minister of Defense Policy, Ambassador Librado Orozco Zapata, and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Peru, Jia Guide, signed a formal agreement wherein China granted the Peruvian Ministry of Defense 50 million RMB (around USD$8 million) in military assistance.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
