Grant Description
Based on the release from the Congress of Micronesia, on November 28, 2005, Micronesian officials signed an agreement with Chinese officials in Palikir for a grant of $2.5 million USD (link to Record ID#61558).
USD 250 thousand of the grant was provided to the Chuuk State Government as the capital contribution to the FSM Trust Fund. However, it is unknown whether the Congress has approved it and the grant was provided to the Chuuk State. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
