Grant Description

Chinese government provides 200 million RMB interest-free loan to Sri Lanka On November 29, 2013, the Chinese government agreed to provide an interest-free loan to the Government of Sri Lanka for 200 million RMB. The loan was provided through an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA) signed in the same year.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
