Chinese Government provides grant for Phase 3 of Les Mamelles Housing Project (Linked to Record ID#55633, #67498, #69021, #55785, #2081, #73589)

On March 15, 2012, the Chinese Government and the Government of Seychelles signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement, which committed RMB 40 million of grant funding for multiple projects (see Record ID#55785). Some of the proceeds from this ETCA were earmarked for Phase 3 of the Les Mamelles Housing Project.

The Chinese Government also provided an additional SCR 25 million grant for Phase 3 (captured in Record ID#69021). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
