Grant Description
Chinese Government provides preferential loans to Fiji for 4 Rural Road Upgrade Project On 22 December 2010, Fiji's Prime Minster hosted the signing ceremony of the intergovernmental framework agreement between the governments of China and Fiji on China's provision of preferential loans to Fiji for four highway projects.
The Chinese government also refers to this project as the 4 Rural Road Upgrade Project (斐济4条农村公路升级改造项目). The implementing organization is China Railway First Group and China Gezhouba Company Ltd. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
