[umbrella project] “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship” project for the Lao National University (Linked to Record ID#68403, #68404, #68405, #65977, #68406, #68407)

In 2014 Chinese Embassy set up the “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship” project at the Lao National University to fund poor students with excellent academic and academic excellence. 50 scholarships are set up each year. By December 2019, there have been six batches of students in total 267 people awarded with the scholarship.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
