Grant Description

On March 15, 2013, the 11th batch of China's peacekeeping forces was sent to Lebanon as part of the UN Interim Forces In Lebanon (UNIFIL). It consisted of 275 Chinese troops.

They served for 12 months and assisted in engineering and construction, medical treatment, and consulting and advice.They worked primarily in southern Lebanon. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
