Grant Description

In July 2007, China provided a grant of RMB 36.3 million (approximately USD 5.3 million) to provide consulting for the construction of Indonesia's defense industry system and the technological revitalization of the four strategic enterprises: Dirgantara Aviation Plant, PINDAD Arsenal, PAL Shipyard, and Krakatau Steel Plant.

China New Era Holdings Group and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Indonesia signed the "Technical Reform Consulting Project Contract for Strategic Enterprises in Indonesia" to implement the project. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
