Chinese Government provides Human Resources Training for Vanuatu Government Officials in China in 2012

In 2012, Chinese government provided Human Resources Training for Vanuatu Government Officials in China (or 援外人力资源开发合作项目).

In 2012 alone, there were 113 short and medium-term seminars, 2 Ministerial level workshops, and 3 Master programs for ni-Vanuatu Officials in China, covering many fields such as public management, education, medical care, infrastructure, energy, and technology. Vanuatu has 6 Ministerial officials and 88 officials below the ministerial level participated in the training.

Among them, Sanko Forestry Director Toko also participated in the one-year master's program.

The Chinese government bears most of the expenses for trainees coming to China, and the Chinese embassy has also provided visa and air tickets to the trainees with maximum convenience. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
