Grant Description

In 2014, the Chinese Government agreed to grant an unspecified amount of money for Children's City School (L'ecole de La Cite de L'enfance or 阿加美儿童中心学校) in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. The value of this project is unknown. The Ivorian Red Cross carried out the project.

The official construction start ceremony took place on 8 July 2014 and the handover ceremony for the school was on 11 September 2014. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
