Grant Description

On 25 June and 22 August 2012, the Chinese Ambassador and Ivorian Foreign Minister signed notes of exchange in which China committed to finance and carry out a solar power project (太阳能照明示范项目). The value of this project is unknown. It is possible this was at least partially financed by ETCA #70538.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
