China Eximbank signs $500 million framework agreement with Export-Import Bank of Malaysia for trade financing purposes Based on the news release from the Export-Import Bank of China, on May 14, 2017, Export-Import Bank of China signed a credit line framework agreement with Export-Import Bank of Malaysia.

Exim Bank of China will provide USD 500 million line of credit to Exim Bank of Malaysia, and Exim Bank of Malaysia will provide USD 100 million credit line in return (or 授信额度框架协议).

The line of credit is going to support transferred loans, co-finance, and trade finance ("中国进出口银行与马来西亚进出口银行签署授信额度框架协议"). Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
