Grant Description

On November 15, 2017, the Chinese government and the Philippine Government signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) to provide a 150-million RMB grant to aid the reconstruction of Marawi City.

The agreement was signed by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd and China's Vice Commerce Minister Fu Ziying in the presence of Duterte and Li. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
