Grant Description

According to both MOFCOM Investment Guide 2017 and Investment Guide 2018, in 2012 China sent 90 medical aid members to 7 different hospitals in 7 governorates of Yemen.

This is in accordance with a new bilateral agreement signed between China and Yemen in 2012 after China's medical team temporarily evacuated in 2011 because of the emergency situation in Yemen. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
