Grant Description

On October 31, 2016, the Beijing municipal government donated eleven 15-seat vans to Vientiane, Laos for the Fourth ASEAN Mayor Forum 2016 (or 援助老挝万象举办2016第四届东盟市长论坛相关车辆交接) in Vientiane.

Guan Huabing, Chinese ambassador to Laos, was entrusted by the Beijing Municipal Government to transfer the relevant vehicles, 11 15-seat vans to the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao PDR, the secretary and mayor of Vientiane, Xinla Feng Kupaitun.

Representatives of the Chinese Embassy and relevant departments of the Vientiane Municipal Government attended the ceremony. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
