Grant Description

On September 13, 2017, the Chinese government turned over a P65-million donation to the Philippines for troops wounded in ongoing offensives against terrorists in Marawi City.

Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua handed over the latest assistance to President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
