Grant Description
On May 5, 2015, the Chinese and Bolivian governments signed an agreement which granted 55 million RMB for 15 deep water wells.
On December 14, 2016, the two governments signed the handover certificate for the donation (“Delivery of Machinery and Equipment for Drilling Deep Water Wells”).
The wells are part of a greater Assistance Project for the Acquisition of Equipment and are intended to aid in the exploration and provision of water. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
