On February 6, 2017, a handover ceremony was held for the donation of medical equipment from Huizhou Central People’s Hospital in Guangdong.

Huizhou Central People’s Hospital in Guangdong donated US$ 987,119 worth of equipment to the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
