Grant Description

On Jan 28, 2014, the signing and launching ceremony of the South-South Cooperation Project on Employment Promotion Services (or 促进就业服务南南合作项目) was held in Vientiane.

The project was from Jan 1, 2014 to December 2016 and the total grant is $1 million for two beneficiary countries, Laos and Cambodia. Through this program, the Chinese Government provided 500,000 USD to Laos (see Record ID#46954). The remaining 500,000 USD is captured in this project as a grant to Cambodia.

Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
