Grant Description
On December 21, 2015, a handover ceremony of medical equipment worth USD 130,000 to FSM was held at Pohnpei State Hospital.
The equipment includes Ventilators, anesthesia machines, monitoring devices, such as surgical instruments, wheelchairs, mainly used in surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and Chinese medicine department.
It is part of the second phase of the Chinese government's confidential medical cooperation project (for the first phase, Linked to Record ID#40023).. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
