Grant Description
On 18 September 2015, a Chinese delegation handed over a donation of gymnastics equipment worth about 515,000 USD to the Gymnastics Federation of Uruguay for the Salvador Mauad Gymnasium in Canelones.
The equipment donation includes parallel bars, asymmetric bars, rhythmic gymnastics pedal, trampoline, beam, rings, colt, trampoline and mats. This donation also includes three weeks of technical assistance from four Chinese engineers to prepare the gym for use. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
