Embassy of China in Myanmar donates computers, printers, books, and teaching materials to and also funded the renovation of a primary school in Yangon City in 2013

Grant Description

Based on the news release from the Embassy of China in Myanmar, on September 13, 2013, Ambassador Yang Houlan and his wife Ruan Wei went to the second primary school in Yangjing District, Yangon to inspect the teaching building renovation project, which was funded by the Embassy.

The Embassy also donated a batch of computer, printer teaching equipment and books to the school and students, School bags and other cultural and sports supplies. The total cost of the renovation and the donation was 15000 USD. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
