Grant Description

In 2006, the Chinese Government provided a USD 180,000 aid-in-kind grant to rural communities in Fiji (see Record ID#64215). Of this grant, USD 10,976 was allocated to the Nanoko Village electric grid system upgrade. The current status of this project is unknown. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
